September 8, 1930

Good Shepherd Catholic School (GSBH) was formally known as Beverly Hills Catholic School when it was founded in 1930 by the Holy Cross Sisters.  The Sisters were both stewards of the school and parish until 1975.  Following their time, the school was served by the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church, with Sr. Leonella Lynch as Principal and Sr. Francis Mary as Vice-Principal untill 1999.

Following their tenure, the next principals were Sr. Mary Elana Lopez, Ms. Terry Miller, Mrs. Danielle Colvert and our current principal Mrs. Lisa Widmann.

GSBH remains the only Catholic school in Beverly Hills and continues to maintain the high standards set by the Sisters so many years ago: Excellence in Faith, Academics and Service.

Since 1930 our school has stood strong throughout history: WWII, The Great Depression, Founding of the United Nations, The Cold War, Invention of the Internet, 9/11 and so much more!  Our 95th Anniversay will be a celebration of the strength of Catholic Education and our GSBH Community!!

The 95th Celebration will be a weekend of activities on October 11th and 12th.  See below for opportunities to participate, volunteer and support this milestone - 95 Years of Catholic Education!!
